Scientific research mode

Relying on the strong science and the technology of Guangdong Chinese Medicine Engineering Technology (formerly "Guangdong Provincial Institute of TCM") and Guangdong second Hospital of TCM, Guangdong Yifang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. systematically performs studies on the production process, quality standards, clinical efficacy, and safety of TCM formula granules, and thus lays a solid technical foundation for the industrial development of one-party TCM formula granule projects. For more than two decades, the Institutes and Yifang have jointly undertaken to complete 41 provincial and ministerial scientific research topics related to the granulation of TCM Formulas, and have received one award for national science and technology progress second, one award for Guangdong science and technology progress first, two awards, three awards and many other awards.

R & D team

Making TCM Decoction more safer, convenient and efficient is the center of our R & D team. Since 1992, Yifang is, with the TCM Decoction modernization as a mission, on the basis of compliance with TCM theory,using modern pharmaceutical technology to create TCM formula pellets from the creation, to meet the medication requirements of modern society . In addition, each year, we invest a portion of the total sales in R & D activities. Up to date, almost 200 patents are currently declared, of which more than 100 have been patented.

Research facilities

There are many high-end equipment: High-performance capillary electrophoresis, LC-MS, ICP, GC, thin-layer scanner, infrared spectrometer and a SPF grade animal laboratory which is more than a 400 square metres and multiple sets of various pilot equipment.

Quality control

We have established the first waters union laboratory and CNAS certified lab and practice full process quality monitoring from raw medicinal materials, intermediates to finished products by strictly following the GMP requirements and using fingerprinting / characterization and thin layer chromatography.
